Hi, I'm whiscey. I'm trans and I own TulipSMP, a queer Minecraft server. A few days ago I was scrolling TikTok and came across a FruitySMP video that was basically my video word for word. They even changed my name from whiscey to Wispy.

Honestly I didn't know what to do when I saw it. I was really hurt.

What the FruitySMP owner said

I went into the FruitySMP Discord and made a ticket to let them know how I felt. Their staff had no idea it had even happened. The owner, Monjii, got back to me with this:

To me that's not an ok response. They said they'd use a different name and voiceover from now on, but there was no apology. They blamed it on an agency and never offered to take the video down.

After that

Another red flag is that right after their video went up, Monjii joined my Discord on Oct 24.

When I looked through more of FruitySMP's videos, it looked like they'd been copying me for a while. Once players and staff started calling it out, they disabled all their videos and Monjii left my Discord.

I just had to get this off my chest. I'm putting it here so people can find it if they look up FruitySMP.

If FruitySMP sends me an apology at imsorry@whiscey.net, I'll stop posting about it.

Yeah, they used my lines and swapped my name for Wispy. Both videos are up top.

Who's Wispy?

That's the name FruitySMP used instead of mine.

What did FruitySMP say about it?

The owner said an agency makes their videos and they'd change the name and voiceover going forward. They never apologized and the video stayed up.
